Senior Product Manager

Highbrow LLC is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product execution and roadmap discipline. The role involves managing product requirements, cross-functional partnerships, and resource assessments to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Product Execution & Roadmap DisciplinePressure-test scope vs. capacity and propose clear trade-offsMaintain structured backlog hygieneEnsure predictable sprint velocityDefine 'release ready' criteria for broad internal useDrive lean, efficient, and organized sprint and release process
• Requirements & Artifact Ownership (Critical)Personally produce detailed PRDs and JIRA ticketsCreate user flows including edge casesDevelop wireframes/mockups (low fidelity acceptable)Define acceptance criteria and data logicBreak features into dev-ready ticket breakdownsClearly define requirements for application, data, AI, and business intelligence layersLeverage Power BI's native NLP/Q&A capabilities where appropriateIdentify where custom AI/LLM layers add incremental valueDesign user-facing natural language workflowsEnsure guardrails prevent misleading outputsBalance innovation with reliability in financial insight delivery
• Cross-Functional PartnershipPartner closely with Tech Lead (architecture & delivery)Partner closely with Lead Portfolio Analytics (data integrity & definitions)Establish disciplined stakeholder intake processesTranslate stakeholder feedback into prioritized roadmap themesPrevent roadmap derailment while maintaining engagementDevelop stakeholder communication and update materialsFacilitate training and onboarding of new users
• Resource & Capacity AssessmentAssess development and data capacity within first 30–45 daysIdentify execution bottlenecksRecommend pragmatic scope adjustmentsProvide structured resource needs analysis

Requirements:

• 7–12+ years of product management experience
• Experience shipping BI/analytics products
• Experience shipping modern web applications
• Experience working with structured data and semantic models
• Strong hands-on requirements writing experience
• Comfortable operating in lean, high-visibility environments
• Experience navigating mixed internal + consultant teams
• High EQ and collegial communication style
• Experience with Power BI (Q&A / semantic models)
• Experience integrating LLM/NLP in structured analytics environments
• Experience in private equity or portfolio analytics contexts
• Familiarity/experience with Finance and Accounting concepts and language
• Prior consulting exposure
