Brown & Brown is a company that values meritocracy and a commitment to customer service. The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations while managing resources and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize and maintain PMO/IS project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence) to manage projects through their full lifecycle
- Partners with cross-functional teams, business units, and vendors to deliver insurance programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Develop and refine project management templates, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Lead project meetings, set goals and milestones, track progress, and resolve blockers to keep initiatives on track
- Monitor and report project performance, ensuring objectives, success metrics, and compliance requirements are met
- Analyze and improve development, testing, and release processes to drive continuous improvement
- Act as relationship manager with IS/IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to align priorities and achieve project objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Project Management experience and/or training, minimum 2-3 years
- Certificate of Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Lean / Six Sigma Certifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- Insurance Industry experience
