Expel is a company focused on enhancing customer experiences through innovative product management. In this role, you will lead the development and refinement of systems that manage customer purchasing and access to services, ensuring that pricing strategies translate into automated product experiences that drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Translate high-level business goals into functional pricing models (seat-based, consumption-based, or hybrid)
- Perform continuous analysis to ensure our packaging aligns with customer value
- Define and manage the roadmap for our internal provisioning engine
- Collaborate with Engineering to build robust tracking for value metrics, ensuring accurate metering and reflection in both customer UI and billing systems
- Identify and resolve friction points in the activation process and remediate revenue leakage
- Serve as the 'connective tissue' between Sales, Finance, and Engineering for alignment on execution and delivery
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of professional experience
- 2 years in product management or pricing analyst role
- Exposure to SaaS operations, including service provisioning, data optimization, and customer support
- Understanding of fundamental business metrics and ways to influence them
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and IT professionals about API-led activation and usage logs
- Strong familiarity with SQL and data models
- High proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and advanced financial modeling skills
- Experience with Business Systems Architecture (CPQ & Billing)
