Lead Product Designer - Design Systems

Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, AI-powered platform. They are seeking a Lead Designer to own the 'source of truth' for their digital language, bridging the gap between UX designers and frontend engineering teams to ensure a cohesive and accessible hardware-software interface.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the core Figma component library, tokens, and documentation
• Create scalable systems that work across responsive web, mobile, and specialized hardware interfaces/touch devices
• Establish the process for how new components are proposed, vetted, and integrated by the broader UX team
• Act as a bridge between Design and Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and technical feasibility
• Build, test interactive components and prototypes
• Pinch hit as needed on cross-product experiences
