Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack

Greenlight is the leading family fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack to join their Web Registration team, focusing on developing and maintaining core functionalities for the registration flow while ensuring service stability and integrating analytics tools.

Responsibilities:

• Building new experiences for the Greenlight Registration Flow
• Work with domain teams, product managers and designers to improve the growth of users through the registration flow
• Support the existing architecture of Greenlight registration and build on it
• Continuously add incremental features while balancing new features and tech debt
• Scale and maintain backend services to evolve with new feature requests and support growing user base
• Improve the reliability and availability of the platform which supports families and partners

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years software development experience
• Ability to context switch effectively and prioritize work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong focus on performance, scalability, and observability when designing and building systems
• Experience building single page applications using a modern framework
• Experience building REST APIs
• Recent experience developing backend services with Node.js
• Ability to operate in a fast, iterative development environment, applying build/measure/learn principles to rapidly deliver features, evaluate impact, and continuously improve the product
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
• Experience working with modern MarTech tools such as Segment, Optimizely, and Mixpanel
