Star Micronics is a global leader in the POS industry, specializing in solutions for receipt and kiosk printing, label printing, barcode scanning, and cash management. The Enterprise Sales Manager is responsible for winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with strategic end-users and integrators, achieving sales and profitability objectives, and collaborating across the company to meet partner expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new enterprise and end-user business opportunities through research, networking, and proactive outreach
- Prioritizes and proactively establishes productive, professional relationships with the decision makers in strategic and large-scale end-user accounts
- Maintains and establishes productive, professional relationships with enterprise sales teams in strategic and large-scale channel partner accounts
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and consultative discussions with prospective clients to understand their business needs
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position the company as a trusted advisor
- Maintains a relationship with global subsidiaries to replicate successful opportunities with global partners in our market
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close high-value deals that meet company profitability goals
- Sells through partner organizations to end-users in direct coordination with Distribution channel
- Own and shepherd solution development collaborations with Sales Leadership, Integration, Product, Marketing and Business Development teams to best address customers’ needs
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM system, with consistent weekly updates to Manager, Channel Sales and Strategy
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability
- Represent Star Micronics at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, delivering presentations and conducting product demonstrations for enterprise partner audiences
Requirements:
- Diplomatic customer relations skills required, reflecting positive attitude
- Polished written and oral communication skills required
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to overcome objections consistently
- Ability to manage multiple, competing projects at one time and supervise them to completion
- Moderate-level Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce expertise
- Moderate technical and/or mechanical skills, POS Hardware preferred
- Minimum 10 years Sales and/or Customer Relations Experience with 8+ years POS & Retail Solutions/and or Technical hardware sales experience required
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum ten years of Channel Sales experience in a business-to-business and distribution-based sales environment
- Ability to travel 40%- 50%
- Must maintain valid Driver's License
- Must maintain valid passport from Country of Residence
- Bi-lingual preferred
- POS Hardware preferred
