Cloud Network Engineer

Applied Information Sciences is a mission-driven company focused on making a difference through impactful projects. They are seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to support federal customers by designing and maintaining cloud network architectures and ensuring the operation of network communication systems.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the operation of the cloud backbone for network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for cloud network architectures
• Administer, monitor, install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of systems
• Conducts testing of network design

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or closely related degree)
• At least 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
• Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software, virtual appliances, interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, switches, gateways, etc
• Understands how commodity cloud servers, operating systems and networks function, perform and scale
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance
• Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications
• Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems
