Bellwood is a consulting firm that specializes in software custom development services. They are seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive to drive sales in the small and mid-market business segment by identifying prospective clients and building relationships to secure business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying strong prospective clients based on identified ideal customer profiles, patterns of past company engagements, and market trends
- Developing outbound sales processes that lead to a predictable standard of qualified leads, the success of this role will be measured by the number of qualified discovery meetings scheduled and the resulting revenue closed
- Tailoring solutions to meet the prospects' pain points
- Preparing concise and accurate proposals for prospective clients
- Using CRM to update, track, and maintain daily activity and all relevant contact, company, and opportunity information
- Effectively managing pipeline including accurate monthly, 90 day, and 120 day forecasts
- Coordinating with marketing about feedback on leads that are received, and informing marketing of common questions that are raised in the sales cycle to build content that helps answer those questions to generate future leads
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Developing sales strategies and executing activities to consistently meet or exceed sales quota, this is a hunter sales role with extremely limited support from inbound leads
- Identify prospects within Bellwood's ideal customer profile, conduct multi-channel outreach to schedule appointments, conduct effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business
- Must be able to establish trust with business owners and key executives, empathetically understand their technology goals, and facilitate the transfer of that trust to a solutions team
- Proficient at utilizing sales automation and pipeline management tools with prospect-specific customizations to earn the attention of decision makers
- Has a proven track record of closing deals and meeting sales goals
- Has 5+ years of quota carrying sales experience, with 3+ years of experience selling high-quality, U.S. based software development consulting services, ideally with a focus on developing complex software products and mobile applications
- Is passionate about helping others with their software technology needs and is passionate about the craft of sales
- Understands the distinct value and roles of Software Developers, UX/UI Design, and Product Management
- Is organized and methodical with strong prioritization and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills with prospects, customers, and internal teams
- A coachable and curious mindset able to take feedback coupled with a strong desire to learn
- A strong work ethic and goal-oriented competitive attitude that intends to win
- Can travel to clients, prospects, and trade shows up to 25% of the time
