ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, and they are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join their team supporting federal government clients. The role involves designing intuitive products for enterprise software applications, collaborating with product owners and researchers, and delivering solutions through prototyping and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Work to support the UX vision and strategy established by project leadership in alignment with business objectives
- Build empathy with users by working consuming research insights and through participatory design to generate validated UX designs
- Ideate to discover and develop designs and solve user experience problems as identified by your project team
- Work as part of a team to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to describe, communicate, and test proposed user experiences
- Review designs with quality assurance and development teams to answer questions and support successful implementation
- Clearly communicate design process and rationale of decisions with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in design, human computer interaction or related field
- 3+ years of applied UX design experience in the software industry
- Able to provide and present a portfolio demonstrating your design process and deliverables
- Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US
- Candidate must have resided in the US 3 of the last 5 years
- Candidate must be eligible for public trust
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA / Section 508 compliance preferred
- 10+ years of overall professional experience preferred
- Experience in federal contracting or healthcare IT preferred
- Active or past clearance to work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or the US Department of Health and Human Services
