The Child Support Division’s Content & Creative Services Director leads a multidisciplinary communications and creative team that translates complex, legally nuanced programs into clear, accessible information for a customer base of nearly 1.5 million custodial and noncustodial parents. This role plans and produces high quality content—video design, web/SharePoint, infographics, and publications—while operating within a matrixed governance model requiring close coordination and approval from various levels of leadership teams across the Child Support Division and agency at large.
Success requires diplomatic relationship building, editorial excellence, accessible design, and strong production management. The Director advances Division priorities, improves consistency across external touchpoints (including the child support customers, various stakeholders, and the general public), and leverages AI and technological tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Adobe platforms, and project management software) to improve speed, clarity, and quality—always within established policy, legal, and approval frameworks. The Director both develops content and edits and guides the work of others. This position leads the Division’s communication and content strategy to ensure that complex program information is transformed into clear, accessible, and consistent content for customers and stakeholders. The role sets the standards, workflows, and quality controls that guide how content is created, reviewed, and maintained across multiple platforms.
This position reports to the Child Support Division Chief of Program Innovation with a matrixed relationship with the agency’s Communications Director for strategy alignment and final approvals on appropriate external communications.
