JOB DUTIES
- Lead and manage a portfolio of complex clinical, operational, and strategic initiatives across the cancer center, from intake through implementation and stabilization
- Serve as the central point of coordination for multidisciplinary initiatives, aligning stakeholders across ambulatory and hospital leadership, inpatient/outpatient teams, surgical services, and administrative functions
- Drive cross-functional execution of new programs and service lines by coordinating teams across oncology, pharmacy, interventional radiology, anesthesia, ICU, ambulatory operations, revenue cycle, and support services
- Oversee onboarding and integration of new therapies, procedures, and programs, ensuring alignment of clinical workflows, operational processes, financial pathways, and system readiness
- Partner with finance, contracting, and revenue cycle to implement high-cost therapies, including development of financial workflows and execution of payer and vendor agreements
- Lead EMR-related workstreams, including Epic Beacon treatment plans, procedural order sets, and phases of care, while supporting governance, prioritization, and workflow standardization
- Drive improvements in provider order entry and clinical workflows in collaboration with clinical and operational leadership, including policy implementation and adoption monitoring
- Support pharmacy, infusion, and procedural operations through workflow optimization, therapy plan standardization, and cross-functional process alignment
- Collaborate with clinical leadership on program development and expansion (e.g., survivorship, outpatient procedural services)
- Coordinate procurement and implementation of clinical equipment and resources with supply chain and biomedical engineering
- Lead and support patient safety and quality initiatives, including committee coordination, metric tracking, and performance improvement efforts
- Manage external vendor and partner relationships to support program implementation and data integration
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and communication strategies to ensure accountability, visibility, and progress
- Provide ongoing strategic and operational support to leadership by identifying barriers, facilitating decisions, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders
