Risk Strategies Company is a leading insurance wholesaler and program manager, and they are seeking an Account Executive to handle telephone marketing and sales of insurance products. The role involves meeting sales targets, assisting customers with product information, and promoting customer retention.
Responsibilities:
- Sells insurance products to prospective member/clients by making and receiving telephone calls
- Prospects and produces new life, health, disability, dental and other product lines offered to Affinity Group Associations
- Responsible for meeting individual sales and quality of business targets
- Reviews and analyzes sales reports and other data to monitor progress towards stated goals and provides input to management to help identify opportunities to improve sales
- Utilize marketing campaigns, advertising, and other marketing methods to meet monthly and annual sales goals
- Calculates and presents quotes, writes insurance applications, follows up regarding pending or incomplete transactions as needed
- Document sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Responds to member/client inquiries and resolves problems professionally, accurately and on a timely basis. Refers questions to an appropriate resource if unable to resolve problem
- Maintains insurance product knowledge and selling techniques
Requirements:
- 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry
- Basic PC skills required, including spreadsheet and word processing software
- Insurance sales and/or telemarketing experience preferred
