Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Platform Okta Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Okta Identity & Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure identity solutions across cloud environments, integrating Okta with enterprise applications, and managing authentication/access controls within Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Okta IAM solutions including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, and Universal Directory

Integrate Okta with cloud and enterprise applications using SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM

Manage identity and access controls across Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environments

Configure and support Google Cloud Platform IAM roles, service accounts, permissions, and policies

Implement secure access for Google Cloud Platform resources using Okta federation

Automate user provisioning/deprovisioning workflows

Troubleshoot authentication, access, and federation issues

Work closely with Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams on governance and compliance initiatives

Support audits, access reviews, and IAM best practices
Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Okta administration and integrations

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Experience with SSO, MFA, Federation, RBAC, IAM governance

Knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM

Experience with Google Cloud Platform IAM, service accounts, organization policies

Scripting experience with Python / PowerShell / Terraform

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Nice to Have

Experience with BeyondCorp / Zero Trust models

Knowledge of Google Workspace identity integrations

Exposure to AWS / Azure IAM

Okta Certifications or Google Cloud Certifications
