Engineering Manager

Transcend is seeking highly motivated and experienced Engineering Managers to lead their teams in building robust solutions for data privacy and compliance. The role involves managing engineers, guiding product development, and fostering a collaborative culture within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative culture and upholding high technical standards
• Grow the team through hiring and nurturing engineering talent
• Leverage your technical expertise in software engineering to guide the team in building robust and scalable solutions
• Review & provide feedback for technical design docs and code changes
• Collaborate with the product team to create and execute the product roadmap
• Take on development tasks and debug production issues when necessary – this often involves diving into the details of infrastructure implementation, job systems, and full-stack features
• Grow the team and evolve processes to fit changing

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proficient in Javascript/Typescript
• Experience building full-stack products, with contribution to both frontend and backend
• 2+ years of experience in managing or leading engineering teams
• Record of shipping high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent technical communicator to a diverse group of audiences
• Collaborative mindset and proven experience in working in cross-functional teams in a remote environment
• Passionate about privacy and eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization
