Distributed Systems Evaluation Engineer

Hyphenconnect is a pioneering research-led organization focused on developing a sovereign, decentralized communication stack. They are seeking a Distributed Systems Evaluation Engineer to stress-test networks and simulate Byzantine attacks to ensure robust and resilient communication systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement stress tests for network infrastructures
• Simulate Byzantine attacks to evaluate network security and resilience
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance the communication stack
• Analyze and report findings to improve network protocols and architecture
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for decentralized communication challenges

Requirements:

• Experience with network simulation tools
• Proficiency in Rust or Go programming languages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Demonstrated experience in stress-testing networks and security protocols
