SAJ Technologies is dedicated to driving digital transformation for government and private organizations. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a mission-critical federal IT support program responsible for operating, maintaining, and modernizing a portfolio of enterprise applications in a cloud-hosted environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary interface to federal stakeholders, including COR and business owners
- Lead day-to-day operations across application support, maintenance, and enhancement activities
- Manage ticket intake, prioritization, and resolution across high-volume support queues
- Oversee system patching, upgrades, and release cycles across multiple applications
- Coordinate and execute transition activities from the incumbent contractor, ensuring no disruption to operations
- Lead recurring status meetings and deliver structured reporting on performance, risks, and progress
- Manage project schedules, staffing, and resource allocation under a fixed-price delivery model
- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and documentation standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams supporting cloud infrastructure, databases, and application layers
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience managing IT programs or projects
- 5+ years leading federal application support or O&M contracts
- Proven experience transitioning systems from an incumbent vendor
- Experience managing production environments with SLAs and high availability requirements
- Strong understanding of enterprise application environments (Java/.NET, databases, cloud)
- Experience working in AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and ITIL-based service management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- PMP certification
- ITIL certification
- Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or data-intensive federal systems
