Senior Full Stack Engineer - Applications Team

Trilliant Health is a high-growth healthcare technology company on a mission to provide analytic insights to stakeholders in the health economy. They are seeking a senior full stack engineer to join their Applications team, where the engineer will work on customer-facing applications and backend APIs, collaborating closely with various teams to enhance data-driven decision-making in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Write software that processes and analyzes large amounts of healthcare data
• Own all of our customer-facing applications and the backend APIs that power them
• Work closely with data visualization and design experts, test engineers, and other engineering teams
• Evaluate LLM-generated code critically and reason about the big picture
• Teach and mentor others, raising the bar for strong senior engineering on the team
• Explain parts of your decision-making process to non-engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Math/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - the ability to explain your solutions to non-technical audiences
• Problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Good project planning and project management skills
• Self-starter, able to work independently (we are a team but we work remotely)
• Ownership mentality - between projects, our most highly valued employees notice, share, and then address problems without being asked
• General knowledge of and experience with managing infrastructure as code
• Willingness to embrace LLMs as a key part of your software development toolkit
• Experience working in the healthcare domain is valuable but not required
