Alacriti, headquartered in Bridgewater, NJ, stands at the forefront of payments innovation, delivering comprehensive payment and money movement solutions to financial institutions. They are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager who will bridge the gap between product features and audience needs for a complex payments-focused solution.
Responsibilities:
- Understand our customers' needs, challenges, processes, and what drives their decision process
- Define and continually refine product positioning, messaging, and personas for Alacriti’s solutions
- Define and standardize product marketing processes, deliverables and sales enablement
- Own our messaging hierarchy — connecting value to the buyer’s day-to-day and the exec business impact and differentiating our solutions from legacy tools and processes
- Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence and market analysis — tracking shifts and advising Product and GTM teams accordingly
- Partner with Product and Revenue teams to lead launches, GTM plans, customer communications, and internal rollout
- Strategic collaboration upstream includes proactive participation in product strategy sessions, roadmap influence, or market fit validation
- Conduct external training on new product features and releases, proactively train internal teams and ensure message alignment
- Develop in-depth understanding of the Alacriti product to become a go-to
- Expert for sales
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate technical capabilities into buyer-centric stories that resonate our target audience
- Support customer marketing, ABM initiatives, and product storytelling in collaboration with the content and demand teams
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of product marketing experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the payments world or banking system in the US. Preferably worked in fintech, or financial institute, and has an understanding of ACH and/or wire processing is an advantage
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred, Masters degree is a plus
- Proven ability to own messaging, positioning, and product narrative in a complex enterprise environment with complex selling processes
- Strong storyteller with a portfolio that spans content types and personas
- Deep understanding of the buyer journey in banking or payments field with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Experience working across Product, Sales, and Engineering — with high comfort in technical conversations
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can lead without a playbook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills
- Experience in a high-growth or SaaS environment
- Knowledge of ABM (Account-Based Marketing) best practices and experience using marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot)
- Experience working for a bank or credit union
