Laxis is an AI startup focused on enhancing productivity through innovative applications. They are seeking a Growth Marketing Intern to assist in driving user growth for their consumer AI apps by supporting various marketing efforts including content creation, social media management, and influencer outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Support content and SEO/GEO work — research keywords and AI-search queries, draft blog posts and landing page copy, and help optimize existing content to rank in Google and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
- Help run social media — draft posts, schedule content, jump into comments/community, and produce short-form video and image content for platforms like X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Xiaohongshu
- Help run influencer and creator outreach — build target lists, send outreach, track conversations, and keep the partnership pipeline organized
- Support ASO on the iOS App Store and Google Play — research competitors and keywords, draft listing copy, create screenshot concepts, and help monitor reviews and ratings
- Create simple marketing visuals in Figma, Canva, or similar tools — social graphics, blog headers, ad creatives, and app store screenshots
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, Runway, Canva AI, etc.) every day to accelerate research, writing, and creative production
- Track campaign performance, pull basic data, and help turn results into the next experiment
- Jump in wherever the team needs help — this is a startup, and scope flexes week to week
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student — marketing, business, communications, journalism, or design backgrounds are a plus, but not required
- Genuine interest in AI, consumer apps, and how products grow
- Strong written communication in English; Chinese is a plus
- Comfortable with (or excited to learn) AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc. — and able to use them to work faster
- Some hands-on experience in at least one of the following (school projects, clubs, personal brand, or side projects all count): Writing blog posts, articles, or long-form content
- Running social media accounts (personal, club, or brand)
- Basic design in Figma, Canva, or similar
- Short-form video or photo content
- Self-starter with a bias toward shipping — you'd rather publish a rough-but-good post today than a perfect one next month
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting
- Curious, resourceful, and willing to learn publicly (including from mistakes)
