QA Engineer – Networking & Cloud Testing

ImpactQA is seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in networking and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will perform integration and system testing across private and hybrid cloud infrastructures while collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform integration and system testing across complex private and hybrid cloud environments
• Validate networking components (both virtual and physical) including connectivity, protocols, and performance
• Design and execute test strategies for distributed systems and cloud-native applications
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop and execute automated test scripts to improve coverage and efficiency
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams for resolution
• Ensure system stability, scalability, and performance across environments

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, etc.)
• Experience in integration and system testing in cloud environments (private/hybrid cloud preferred)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and virtual machines
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and scripting (Python, Shell, or similar)
• 3–7 years of experience in QA/testing with a focus on networking and cloud systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of network virtualization and SDN concepts
• Familiarity with performance and scalability testing
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
