The Power and Cooling Project Manager will lead the delivery of data center power and cooling projects, ensuring all technical, financial, and governance commitments are met while coordinating across various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data center power and cooling projects, from kickoff through commissioning and handover
- Own project planning, scheduling, budgeting, dependency tracking, and execution across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate site readiness, logistics, installation, testing, and acceptance of liquid cooling systems, CDUs, and liquid‑cooled environments
- Develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project baselines, risks, and cost controls to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery
- Support HPC and AI solution planning, including power, cooling, and data center placement considerations
- Contribute to proposals and RFPs with project execution and infrastructure expertise
- Track and report project status, KPIs, risks, and issues using Lenovo governance frameworks
- Ensure compliance with delivery standards, quality requirements, and documentation expectations
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and knowledge sharing across delivery teams
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in project management within data center infrastructure, IT infrastructure, engineering, or HVAC deployment and management services environments
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale data center infrastructure projects involving power, cooling, and critical environments
- Strong understanding of data center power distribution, thermal systems, HVAC, and high‑density computing environments (HPC/AI), with hands‑on experience in liquid cooling technologies (e.g., CDUs, water‑cooled solutions)
- Background in mechanical, electrical, thermal, or IT infrastructure engineering
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills within customer‑facing, global delivery environments
- Strong proficiency in project planning, tracking, documentation, and reporting tools (e.g., Monday.com)
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred
