Junior Software Engineer (TypeScript) | $42/hr Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to focus on AI Quality & Testing. The role involves testing and evaluating AI-powered products, contributing to TypeScript projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance.

Responsibilities:

• Test and evaluate AI-powered web and mobile products with a focus on video generation
• Write detailed test cases and document bugs, edge cases, and product issues
• Contribute code improvements and fixes to TypeScript-based projects
• Analyze user feedback to identify product improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations
• Apply structured quality engineering practices to enhance product performance
• Maintain organized documentation of testing processes and findings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with experience contributing to production codebases
• Demonstrated portfolio of self-built projects
• Ability to navigate and contribute to complex codebases
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Interest in AI tools and video generation technologies
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment
