Senior Web and Unity Developer
Dallas, TX (4 days a week)

They are focusing more on the front end web development with Vue. Unity C# is a plus, even if they have just done personal projects with it
Update: Unity will be challenging to find. Especially in someone that can go onsite in Dallas, 4 days a week. If you find someone with Unity I would love to see that person however someone with more full stack web development (specifically c#) will work here. If they do not have the Unity I will be looking at strong culture fit as well.
Position Overview The Senior Web & Unity Developer will contribute across gameplay features, player facing web applications, and real-time system integrations. This role spans both Unity-based interactive experiences and modern web applications, ensuring seamless integration between gameplay systems and user?facing experiences.
This is a hands-on, autonomous role suited for a seasoned developer who thrives in fast-paced environments and can deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain player-facing web applications using modern frameworks, with an emphasis on Vue.js
- Build and enhance gameplay features, UI, and system integrations within Unity (C#)
- Implement asynchronous, event-driven communication patterns using messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
- Translate product and design requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions across web and Unity environments
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to write, review, refactor, and ship high-quality code efficiently
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners
- Work independently to scope, execute, and deliver features end?to?end
- Contribute to real-time and near real-time systems supporting gameplay and user interactions
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability across both web and Unity environments
- Rapidly iterate based on feedback, testing, and product insights
Qualifications Required
- 7+ years of professional software development experience across both web and Unity environments
- Strong experience with Vue.js and modern front-end development (JavaScript, TypeScript, APIs, state management)
- Proficiency in Unity development using C#, with experience shipping interactive applications or games
- Experience with asynchronous, event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Experience translating product requirements into end-to-end technical implementations
- Strong understanding of real-time or near real-time systems and related performance considerations
- Experience collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback
Nice to Have
- Experience building gaming, gamification, or interactive entertainment products
- Familiarity with real-time multiplayer systems or synchronization patterns
- Experience with WebSockets or similar technologies
- Familiarity with Node.js and backend integration patterns
- Experience working within established design systems
