Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of sterilization and decontamination equipment
- Provide hands-on support for sterilization equipment and associated systems (machines; not instruments)
- Perform planned preventive maintenance inspections and diagnostics
- Conduct performance testing, calibrations, and sterilization cycle verification support
- Execute corrective maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Support backlog reduction of sterilization and decontamination equipment work orders
- Partner with Clinical Engineering leadership to minimize downtime and clinical disruption
- Float between First Hill and Cherry Hill campuses as operational needs dictate
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Steris sterilizer equipment (required)
- Hospital-based Clinical Engineering / Biomed background
- Experience supporting sterilization and decontamination equipment in acute-care settings
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
