Job Description
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced and driven individual to join our People & Culture Team in Victoria, based in Richmond. You will report into the People & Culture Manager, with your role being the Talent Acquisition Partner. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for working with the team to develop and embed a talent acquisition framework that supports end-to-end recruitment solutions that attract, assess, and secure high-quality talent. Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, this role partners closely with the business to align recruitment strategies with workforce and organisational objectives.
This role will see you:
- Work with the team to develop a talent acquisition strategy and framework that incorporates best fit/practice principles, and embed this across the business
- Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and workforce plans
- Partner with hiring managers to lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through to offer and onboarding
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, including direct and pro-active sourcing and talent pooling
- Provide market insights and advice on talent availability, remuneration, and hiring trends
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects and enhances the organisation’s values and brand
- Conduct screening, shortlisting, interviews and coordinate selection and assessment processes
- Manage recruitment activity through the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and reporting
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment legislation, policy, and diversity principles
- Contribute to employer branding, recruitment projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
- CPHR certification is preferred
- Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Partner role (in-house and/or agency)
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and recruitment best practice
- Experience developing and embedding talent acquisition frameworks and processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
- Ability to manage multiple roles and competing priorities effectively
- Commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and professional judgement
