About this role
CBC is seeking a Design Engineer with experience in power plant engineering. The role involves preparing and reviewing piping layouts, developing General Arrangement drawings, and ensuring design compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review piping layouts for power plants
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Create plant layout drawings based on project requirements
- Work on steam turbine-related design aspects
- Prepare and interpret P&ID drawings
- Coordinate with project and engineering teams
- Ensure design compliance with industry standards
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in power plant engineering
- Hands-on experience in piping design, layout drawings, and general arrangement drawings for power plants
- Knowledge of steam turbine systems
- Strong knowledge of power plant piping and layout design
- Experience in GA drawings and plant layouts
- Understanding of steam turbine systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of P&ID drawings
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
