They are seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management to lead the strategy and execution for product personalization and photo upload experiences across web and mobile apps, driving innovation and optimizing customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Personalization and Photo Platform
- Lead the product strategy and roadmap for photo upload, photo management, and product personalization capabilities across Shutterfly’s web and mobile platforms
- Build intuitive, scalable tools that enable customers to seamlessly upload, organize, and personalize products with their photos
- Drive Data-Informed Product Innovation
- Define measurement frameworks and KPIs that evaluate product performance across the personalization and creation experience
- Use analytics, experimentation, and customer insights to identify friction points and drive improvements in engagement, creation success rates, and product conversion
- Partner with analytics and data science teams to design experiments and uncover opportunities for optimization
- Lead Cross-Functional Product Development
- Work closely with Engineering, UX, Analytics, and Business teams to design and deliver scalable product capabilities
- Drive prioritization across platform improvements, customer experience enhancements, and new personalization features
- Translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive customer-facing experiences
- Scale the Creation Experience
- Build platform capabilities that support high-volume photo ingestion, organization, and personalization workflows across millions of users
- Ensure personalization tools are powerful yet simple, enabling both quick creation and advanced customization
- Stay informed on industry trends in AI-powered personalization, photo management, and creative tooling
- Mentor and Grow Product Talent
- Lead and mentor product managers responsible for personalization and creation capabilities
- Foster a product culture grounded in customer obsession, experimentation, and measurable outcomes
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that enable Shutterfly’s next phase of growth
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product management experience building consumer-facing digital products
- Demonstrated success delivering complex product platforms or creation tools used by large customer bases
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to build scalable, highly available systems
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging experimentation, data analysis, and customer insights to guide product decisions
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, UX, Analytics, and Business teams
- Proven ability to translate customer needs and technical constraints into clear product strategies and roadmaps
- Experience building consumer creation tools, media platforms, or photo/video workflows
- Background in e-commerce, digital media platforms, or consumer marketplaces
- Experience with experimentation platforms, analytics tools, and customer journey optimization
- Familiarity with data platforms and analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, SQL, Power BI, etc
