Cisco is a leading technology company focused on revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations. They are seeking a Business Solutions Engineer to co-create end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges while aligning with clients' strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable technology solutions
- Design and architect comprehensive solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure our clients realize the value of solutions, from concept to deployment
- Serve as a technical expert and advisor for both internal stakeholders and external clients, providing guidance on best practices and industry trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
- Advocate for an inclusive approach to solution development, ensuring that diverse perspectives are considered, and accessibility requirements are met
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team
- Contribute to the development of architectural standards, frameworks, and governance processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration
- 7+ years of related experience
- Validated experience as a Solutions Engineer or Architect or in a similar role within a complex enterprise environment
- Deep understanding of business processes and experience with enterprise architecture frameworks
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or Business Administration
- Strong executive communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and facilitate design thinking sessions
- Deep knowledge of Cisco products and solutions at Cisco Certified Network Professional proficiency level
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in leading multi-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities
