As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers, balancing technical leadership with people management while delivering impactful products and fostering a strong engineering culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of 5–8 engineers, supporting growth, performance, and career development
- Partner closely with Product and Design on discovery, prioritization, and delivery
- Drive execution of customer-facing features with a focus on speed and impact
- Help your team navigate trade-offs between velocity, quality, and technical investment
- Foster a strong engineering culture grounded in ownership, accountability, and collaboration
- Contribute to hiring and building a high-performing, diverse team
- Support operational excellence, including incident response and reliability
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience with 2+ years of people management
- Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams
- Strong technical background with the ability to provide architectural guidance
- Experience with agile development and delivery management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Track record of building inclusive, high-performing teams
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity for your team
- Experience with remote team management and async collaboration
- Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, or product analytics
- Background in SaaS, marketplaces, or growth-oriented products
- Experience with Elixir, React, or similar technologies
