ABB is a company that helps industries run leaner and cleaner, and they are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for Load Centers, Meter Combos & Surge Protective Devices. In this role, you will drive sales and market growth by overseeing marketing activities, defining product strategies, and enabling sales effectiveness through training and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead U.S. product marketing strategy and commercialization, defining value propositions, positioning, pricing, and launch plans aligned with global strategy and market needs
- Drive achievement of product marketing targets through annual marketing and business plans, forecasts, budget oversight, and cross‑functional execution with sales, CX, and communications teams
- Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable plans by partnering with global product management, SIOP, manufacturing, IT, and sales on standards, features, master data, and product availability
- Enable sales effectiveness through training, tools, and guidance, while leading VOC initiatives, product launches, and multi‑program commercialization efforts with launch partners and third‑party representatives
Requirements:
- BS/BA required in marketing, business, engineering, or relevant field
- MBA preferred; 8+ years of experience in sales/marketing/product management/product marketing or relevant industry required
- Ability to lead and drive initiatives through a complex, matrixed organization; strong analysis and problem-solving skills required
- Strong internal and external communication skills both written and verbal required
- Ability to perform competitive analysis required
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- Experience with customer relations via service, visits, relationships, etc
- Experience in developing inventory strategies to meet customer demand
