Cloud Systems Engineer (Azure & Microsoft 365)

Main Digital is a Certified Women-Owned Small Business that focuses on innovative digital design and advanced product engineering. They are seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to support and enhance cloud operations, particularly within Microsoft ecosystems, while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Own and support Entra ID and cloud identity work across our client's environments, including authentication flows, access controls, and integrations
• Implement and improve Conditional Access, MFA, and secure access patterns aligned to standards and best practices
• Lead Microsoft 365 configuration and operational improvement efforts across tenant environments
• Deliver Azure infrastructure work across the approved stack, including VMs, storage, networking, and AVD
• Lead technical changes end-to-end, including planning, implementation, validation, rollback planning, and closeout
• Build and improve reusable automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and workflow tools
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, KBs, and diagrams that improve consistency and supportability
• Participate in client calls as needed, clearly communicating progress, risks, and next steps

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and/or Intune in production environments
• Experience owning technical work independently, from troubleshooting through validation and documentation
• Strong PowerShell skills and comfort automating repeatable administrative or operational tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot across identity, endpoint management, and cloud infrastructure layers
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in client-facing conversations
• Prior experience in a consulting, managed services, or multi-client environment is strongly preferred
• CompTIA Security+ certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Exposure to regulated or security-driven cloud environments is a plus
