IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will oversee multiple technology projects for a large financial client, including network installations and vendor management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Manage network, Audio Video, cabling and install projects
• Manage vendors, prepare quotes and receive proposals, negotiate pricing
• Manage revenue and cost expectations of the project to meet required margins
• Work with multiple business units, including Real Estate, Security, and other units to understand requirements and timelines for each project
• Participate in various required project meetings

Requirements:

• 2-4 years' experience in network technology Project Management
• 2-4 years' experience managing vendors
• Experience preparing labor/material quotes
• Background in IT Service Delivery
• Knowledge of Network components and connectivity
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient time management skills; sense of urgency
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow a project through its lifecycle to successful deployment
• Ability to communicate technical documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and industry that is continually changing
• Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technical/business requirements and offer creative solutions
• Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely, and to communicate solutions clearly to peers
• Ability to work flexible hours and available afterhours/weekends if required to meet project completion dates
• PMP Certification
