Ensemble Health Partners is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems. The Healthcare Data Implementation Engineer role focuses on supporting new healthcare client implementations, requiring strong healthcare data knowledge and communication skills to ensure accurate and seamless data validation and operationalization within Azure-based platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert during new healthcare client implementations, ensuring accurate interpretation and validation of healthcare data
- Work directly with client stakeholders in a client-facing capacity to troubleshoot issues, answer data questions, and confirm successful implementations
- Validate healthcare datasets to ensure data quality, integrity, and readiness for downstream analytics and operational use
- Apply hands-on knowledge of EMR systems
- Translate healthcare and EMR data requirements into actionable technical solutions
- Support Azure-based data integrations and pipelines used in client onboarding and implementation workflows
- Collaborate with internal engineering, analytics, and implementation teams to resolve data issues and improve processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation standards, validation frameworks, and documentation
- Participate in design discussions and reviews related to healthcare data use cases
- Support the adoption of AI and machine learning tools to enhance healthcare data validation and implementation processes
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 Years of desired work experience
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Required healthcare data experience, including familiarity with healthcare-specific data structures and terminology
- Hands-on experience working with EMR systems, with Meditech strongly preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7
- Experience working in client-facing, consultative, or implementation-focused roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Technical experience with SQL and data validation techniques
- Technical experience with Azure tools (e.g., Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, or similar)
- Technical experience with Python or equivalent scripting languages
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex, regulated datasets
- Ability to balance technical depth with customer service and support-oriented responsibilities
- Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences
- Willingness and ability to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require
- Interest in or exposure to AI and machine learning tools, particularly as applied to healthcare data
