Stitch Fix is the leading online personal styling service that helps people discover styles that fit perfectly. The Product Manager will lead strategy and execution for systems that optimize inventory movement and enhance client experiences while collaborating with various teams to make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Own product strategy and execution across fulfillment platform and logistics capabilities, identifying the highest-impact opportunities across orders, inventory, transportation, and fulfillment execution
- Build a deep understanding of Stitch Fix’s operations, architecture, data flows, and system dependencies, and use that understanding to make strong product decisions and navigate tradeoffs
- Partner closely with Operations, Client Experience, and Client Support stakeholders to translate goals, constraints, and budget drivers into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
- Apply first-principles thinking to solve complex, ambiguous problems, improving workflows, decision-making, and operational effectiveness in ways that fit Stitch Fix’s differentiated model
- Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics to deliver solutions that are technically sound, financially rigorous, and operationally effective
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and agentic workflows both in the products we build and in how we accelerate discovery, planning, and execution
- Drive product strategies to seamlessly integrate and optimize various fulfillment models, leveraging experience with Omni-Retail and Omni-Supply Chain complexity to enhance inventory and operational flexibility
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience leading product strategy and execution for complex, system-heavy products, platforms, or workflows in operationally intensive environments
- You are a first-principles thinker who can quickly understand how a system works, challenge assumptions, and turn ambiguity into clear opportunities and decisions
- You are an exceptional communicator who builds trust with non-technical business partners, earns credibility with technical teams, and influences across functions
- You are quantitatively strong and comfortable working backwards from financial outcomes, business constraints, and operational metrics
- You are technically fluent enough to quickly build a working model of architecture, data flows, APIs, and dependencies, and to go deep with Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics
- You are a systems thinker who can connect upstream decisions to downstream operational and financial outcomes
- You have experience building, improving, or modernizing complex systems, including work involving integrations, external tools, or data-intensive workflows
- You actively use AI tools to improve your productivity and product development workflow, and you are excited about how AI is reshaping how products are built
- You have experience or exposure to Omni-Retail and Omni-Supply Chain environments, specifically managing product strategy for systems that accommodate diverse and complex fulfillment models
- Experience with warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, order management, labor planning, or other operational systems
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or supply chain environments
- Experience with workflow automation, decision-support systems, or operational tooling
- Experience working closely with data science, optimization, or machine learning teams
- Experience with complex integrations, APIs, or data-intensive systems
