Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and implement automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Maven.
• Collaborate with functional QA/QE teams to define and develop automated test scripts for existing and new features.
• Integrate and execute automation test scripts within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Sauce Labs.
• Manage and maintain source code using Git version control.
• Integrate external data sources into automation frameworks for data-driven testing.
• Develop and maintain robust test scripts using dynamic locators, XPath, and browser capabilities.
• Implement synchronization strategies using implicit and explicit waits.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and enhance test coverage and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, and industry standards.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Maven.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and integration with Sauce Labs.
• Proficiency in Git for version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data-driven and hybrid automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with cross-browser and cloud-based test execution platforms.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
