Job Description: Enterprise Technical Architect
Location: Campbell, CA ( 3 days/week in office, Hybrid)
Role Type: Strategic Leadership / Technical Governance
The Mission
We are seeking an Enterprise Technical Architect who operates as a bridge between high-level business strategy and ground-level execution. You are not just a specialist in one stack; you are a "polyglot architect" capable of designing resilient web architectures today while engineering the AI-augmented systems of tomorrow. You will be responsible for the structural integrity, scalability, and future-proofing of our entire technical ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
- Blueprinting & Governance: Define the "North Star" architecture for enterprise-scale web applications. Establish guardrails for microservices, API contracts, and state management.
- Cross-Domain Orchestration: Transition seamlessly between diverse technology environments (e.g., pivoting from a .NET/React core to exploring Rust for performance or Python for AI/ML pipelines).
- AI Strategy & Integration: Lead the "AI Readiness" initiative. This includes designing "Agentic Mesh" architectures, managing LLM context windows at scale, and integrating AI Copilots into the SDLC to drive 10x developer productivity.
- Technical Debt Management: Audit legacy systems and create strategic migration paths to modern, cloud-native infrastructures without disrupting business continuity.
- Stakeholder Synthesis: Translate complex technical risks into business impact for C-suite executives, while providing deep-dive technical mentorship to Pod Leads and Senior Engineers.
Key Competencies
- Architectural Patterns: Mastery of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Serverless patterns.
- Full-Stack Fluency: Deep roots in modern web tech (TypeScript/React, Node.js, or .NET/C#) with the ability to vet and adopt new frameworks rapidly.
- Cloud & DevSecOps: Expert-level knowledge of Azure or AWS, specifically regarding multi-region availability, container orchestration (K8s), and automated security gates.
- Data & AI: Understanding of Vector Databases (Pinecone/Milvus), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, and how to govern AI data privacy at the enterprise level.
- Adaptability: A proven track record of "learning in public" the ability to master a new language or platform within weeks to solve a specific architectural bottleneck.
- Experience: 20+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years in a dedicated Architecture role.
- Mindset: You value "Simplicity" over "Cleverness." You prefer boring technology that works but have the vision to experiment with cutting-edge tools when the ROI is clear.
- Communication: Ability to facilitate "Architecture Decision Records" (ADRs) that gain consensus across divergent engineering teams.
