SAP Store-to-Ship Consultant (EWM + TM)

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Store-to-Ship Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SAP Transportation Management (TM).

This is a client-side functional lead role, working closely with the System Integrator (SI) to validate, guide, and ensure successful implementation of end-to-end warehouse and transportation processes in an S/4HANA environment.

Location & Work Model

• Location: St. Louis, MO
• Work Mode: Remote with 1 week/month onsite (expenses covered)

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a functional SME for SAP EWM and TM in a Store-to-Ship landscape
• Collaborate with SI team on solution design, configuration validation, and process alignment
• Drive end-to-end warehouse and transportation workflows including inbound, outbound, and shipping
• Validate and support:
• Inventory Management & Cycle Counting
• Picking / Putaway strategies
• Handling Units (HU)
• Freight & Shipping processes
• Oversee and participate in:
• SIT / UAT cycles
• Business scenario validations
• Issue resolution & defect triage
• Ensure proper integration using:
• EDI / IDOCs
• RF transactions (scanners, label printers)
• Provide guidance on best practices and optimization in S/4HANA

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of SAP experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
• SAP TM (Transportation Management)
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Deep understanding of:
• Inbound / Outbound logistics processes
• Inventory Management & Cycle Counting
• Picking / Putaway strategies
• Handling Units (HU)
• Shipping & Freight Management
• Experience with:
• EDI / IDOC integrations
• RF framework (warehouse devices, scanners, printers)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Store-to-Ship / Retail / Supply Chain environments
• Prior experience working in client-side or SME advisory roles
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with US-based clients
