The Strategy & Finance Healthcare Consulting team empowers senior living providers to deliver quality service, invest in growth, and address workforce challenges—all while meeting the unique needs of their resident’s health, wellness and community expectations. In a rapidly evolving landscape, the team brings deep senior living expertise to guide strategic, financial and market planning. Their practical, data-driven approach helps organizations navigate regulatory shifts, financial opportunities and challenges, and operational complexity with confidence and clarity.
What You Will Do: - Take an active and hands-on approach in executing client engagements, including managing and overseeing the development and enhancement of dynamic financial models for strategic financial planning of new, expanding or repositioning retirement communities or systems.
- Manage prospective reporting and feasibility studies, evaluating the reasonableness and supportability of organization’s plans for capital projects for regulatory, strategic and/or financing requirements.
- Oversee comprehensive market research initiatives, providing strategic direction and quality assurance to support both internal planning and client-facing deliverables.
- Review and approve client deliverables, offering detailed feedback to staff on drafting, formatting, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Facilitate and lead high-level client meetings, delegating preparation tasks, documenting key discussion points, and ensuring timely follow-up while coaching staff on effective client communication.
- Provide ongoing mentorship, performance feedback, and training to junior and mid-level staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in the healthcare and/or senior living industry, with a focus on data analytics, financial modeling & reporting
- Excellent client service delivery skills with the ability to manage client needs and deliver on client expectations around project activities, timelines, deliverables, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to organize significant amounts of information and manage multiple assignments on an ongoing basis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with advanced level skills in Excel required
- Flexibility for travel; travel requirements may increase with career advancement
Preferred Qualifications: - BA or BS in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, or Healthcare Policy required
- CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
