The Role
What You’ll Do: The Senior Manager, Total Rewards owns the design, execution, and optimization of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures programs are competitive, compliant, and financially sound while supporting business objectives and a consistent employee experience. This position is accountable for end-to-end total rewards delivery, including compensation structures, incentive programs, health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and leave administration across a multi-site, multi-state environment.
Total Rewards Strategy & Execution
• Lead design and execution of compensation and benefits programs aligned with business and financial objectives
• Maintain competitive, cost-effective programs through market analysis, benchmarking, and ongoing evaluation
• Translate data and market insights into actionable program changes
Compensation
• Own compensation programs, including salary structures, job evaluation, and incentive plans
• Lead annual compensation cycles, including planning, modeling, and execution of salary and incentive changes
• Provide guidance on pay decisions, internal equity, and job leveling
• Conduct market pricing and maintain compensation frameworks
Benefits & Leave
• Oversee all benefits programs, including self-funded medical, 401(k), wellness, leave, and retirement
• Manage programs across multiple pay groups and employee populations
• Lead renewals, plan design changes, and open enrollment
• Ensure clear, effective communication of benefits programs
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure compliance with all compensation and benefits regulations (FLSA, ERISA, ACA, etc.)
• Maintain audit readiness and governance over plan administration
• Own 401(k) compliance, including testing and issue resolution (including Puerto Rico considerations)
• Monitor regulatory changes and drive required updates
HRIS, Payroll & Data Management
• Own total rewards data within HRIS (Dayforce preferred), ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Partner with Payroll to ensure alignment across compensation and benefits processes
• Manage vendor file feeds and integrations; resolve data and eligibility issues
• Build and maintain reporting and analytics to support decision-making
Vendor Management
• Manage brokers, carriers, and compensation data providers
• Evaluate vendor performance, cost, and service delivery
• Lead implementation of new programs and tools
Issue Resolution & Support
• Serve as subject matter expert for total rewards
• Resolve complex issues impacting employees, leadership, or program effectiveness
• Identify gaps and implement solutions to improve delivery and experience

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards
• Experience managing total rewards in a multi-site, multi-state environment
• Dayforce or similar HRIS experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of self-funded medical plans, including carved-out pharmacy
• Experience managing multiple pay groups and complex payroll structures
• Deep understanding of multi-state compliance; Puerto Rico exposure preferred
• Experience with 401(k) compliance and audit processes
• Proven ability to use data to drive decisions and improve programs
• Experience with wellness/population health initiatives
• Experience managing vendor integrations and file feeds

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.
