As the Quality Manager, you will lead Plant Quality to ensure all products exceed standards and regulatory requirements. You will serve as a strategic leader, driving business performance through a culture of quality excellence. Your mission is to safeguard product integrity and consumer safety by owning core quality systems and maintaining 100% audit readiness.
Responsibilities
Execute all Quality Systems requirements in a FDA Regulated Colgate Personal Care facility.
Define and implement the site specific Quality Plan, including Quality Management strategies, direction and policies with the goal of protecting the business, reducing variation and waste, and growing the business.
Ensure site compliance with Colgate and local Regulatory Quality-related requirements, with specific emphasis on meeting drug related requirements in the CFR and also Kosher and Halal
Interface with Company Regulatory and Legal Departments to address local regulatory issues and to communicate with local regulatory agencies.
Has highest ranking site-wide accountability for the robustness of key Quality Systems including but not limited to Incoming Component & Finished Product Inspection & Release, Validation, CAPA, Change Control, Internal Audits, Laboratory Management and Documentation Management.
Lead the site-wide FDA readiness program, and serve as the key point of contact for any FDA inspection or inspections from comparable international Regulatory Agencies.
Accountable for leading (in cooperation with other site Leadership Team members) the development and implementation of action plans to address audit findings from Agency GMP Audits and internal Colgate GMP audits.
Accountable for the site-wide consumer satisfaction programs such as Consumer Complaint Tracking & Reduction, the On-Shelf-Quality Program and the Superiority KPI
Has primary accountability for all Performance Management and Coaching / Feedback activities for all members of the Quality Organization at the site.
Key member of the Site Leadership Team, and ensures that the Quality Organization effectively contributes to key business building activities such as customer service, cost savings and Technology Transfer
Ensures that appropriate SPC tools are effectively used in key site processes to drive continuous improvement.
Measure Divisional KPIs and report progress to Senior Management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Engineering or related field
8+ years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain or R&D in a regulated industry i.e. FDA, EPA or OSHA
5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing/Plant Operations environment
5+ years experience conducting and facilitating effective Failure Investigations, Corrective and Preventive Action, Notices of Deviation, and Management of Change Documentation
Direct experience in active participation in an FDA inspection of a production or manufacturing site
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a leadership position for hosting an FDA inspection is highly desired.
At least two years using statistical tools such as Minitab, SPC or RCA tools
At least five years of supervision experience
At least two years of experience in a Technology Transfer role
Experience using SAP or other plant-related computer systems
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $139,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
