Maxell Corporation of America is a technology leader in the design and development of Industrial OEM Products, seeking a National Accounts Manager for their OEM Energy Division. The role involves securing new OEM Battery customers, managing relationships with key accounts, and coordinating sales activities to achieve divisional and corporate sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Secure business within the OEM Battery Division while developing strong relationships with existing accounts and new business opportunities
- Promote new products and technology with accounts to develop new business & secure lead position on Next Gen projects for the OEM Battery Division
- Coordinate meetings with engineering, procurement, and project managers
- Manage and support existing OEM Battery account activity with forecasts, quotations, orders
- Monitor and identify market trends, competitors, and new sales leads
- Report to senior management on the status of accounts
- Review and manage response to queries and complaints on behalf of accounts
- Take a lead role in presentations and proposals for national accounts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
- Minimum 5 years' + experience in OEM Battery or capacitor sales required
- Demonstrated history of sales performance; Meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills
- Strong Negotiation skills and knowledge of B2B RFQ process
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Travel Required
