Full Stack Engineer

Banyan Software is a company focused on acquiring and modernizing software businesses, and they are seeking a Full Stack Engineer for their portfolio company, RubyLaw. The role involves building and launching high-performance websites for leading law firms using a modern JavaScript-based stack.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer custom, high-performance websites for law firms
• Build and launch client sites powered by RubyLaw CMS
• Leverage industry-standard technologies like React and Node.js to create exceptional digital experiences
• Integrate AI tools into workflow to streamline tasks and debugging
• Translate high-end designs into performant code that is faithful to the original design
• Collaborate effectively with designers and other engineers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience using JavaScript and React
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for effective API interaction, data querying, and data transformation to drive the front end user experience
• The ability to strategically integrate AI tools into your workflow to streamline boilerplate tasks and debugging
• The ability to ask the right questions and see beyond a given assignment to translate high-end designs into performant, high-quality code
• A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and how your tasks relate to the implementation of an empowering user experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with designers and other engineers
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Zeplin, or Sketch
• The ability to leverage AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code for enhanced coding efficiency
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes, and Rundeck
