US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions. They are seeking a senior contract copywriter who can also act as a hands-on marketing manager to support their Lifecycle & Advocacy team in scaling AI habit building. The role involves writing user-focused copy, designing campaigns, and iterating based on data to drive AI adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Write habit-building, adoption-focused copy
- Turn product and program inputs into clear, plain-English messaging that encourages users to:
- Come back to use AI again
- Progress from passive to deeper usage
- See and share real value in their day-to-day work
- Write for key lifecycle and advocacy channels, including:
- Lifecycle email and ongoing nurture series (post-onboarding)
- In-product prompts and messages that encourage repeat AI use
- Community and learning touch-points (event promotion, course recommendations, credential nudges)
- Short-form explainers, tips, and 'try this next' content that lower friction to repeat use
- Keep tone approachable, trustworthy, and benefit-focused
- Design campaigns and nurtures within existing strategies
- Work from journey strategies, phases, and goals defined by lifecycle, product, and PMM partners
- Help decide where and when we should communicate key messages (e.g., which channels, which phases, what cadence) to move users along the AI habit curve
- Shape campaign and nurture structures (e.g., number of touches, high-level themes per touch, core CTAs) that align to those predefined strategies
- Own campaign organization and execution
- Translate strategy into clear campaign plans: briefs, timelines, channel plans, and task lists
- Coordinate across partners (marketing ops, design, product, community, learning, analytics) to: Gather inputs and requirements, Prepare everything needed for build and QA, Align on launch dates and dependencies
- Track progress, surface risks, and keep stakeholders aligned so campaigns launch on time and as intended
- Scale successful marketing experiments into repeatable, evergreen lifecycle programs
- Document the frameworks, audience triggers, and performance insights of high-performing campaign pilots
- Codify these successes into standardized lifecycle nurtures that can be efficiently reused and scaled by the team
- Iterate based on data and signals
- Use performance metrics (e.g., engagement, AI usage movement between tiers, retention signals) and qualitative feedback to refine copy and campaign structure
- A/B test subject lines, CTAs, angles, formats, and sequences to understand what best:
- Brings users back into AI
- Moves them up the AI proficiency curve
- Activates them into advocates
- Help document reusable messaging frameworks and templates for AI journeys across different tiers (e.g., Passive → Habitual → Creator → Champion)

- 7+ years of experience in copywriting, content, or UX/product writing, and/or lifecycle, email, or campaign marketing where writing was core to the role
- Proven ability to turn product and program information into accessible, plain-English content that drives action (portfolio required)
- Experience owning or co-owning campaigns end to end, from strategy and brief through to execution, measurement, and iteration
- Experience driving post-onboarding lifecycle programs, particularly around product usage, habit building, or customer education
- Highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams, managing timelines, and keeping stakeholders aligned
- Comfortable using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and our Community platforms) to understand real customer workflows and use cases
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong writing fundamentals: clear narrative structure, user-focused messaging, and thoughtful voice and tone
- Familiarity with AI-powered features in SaaS products and how customers adopt them over time
- Experience working with community, user groups, champions, or advocacy programs
- Experience writing for multi-channel, orchestrated journeys (email + in-product + community/learning)
