AWS AI Cloud Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AWS AI Cloud Engineer who can develop end-to-end GenAI solutions in a fast-paced environment. The role involves creating systems that address client challenges using modern technologies and ensuring the solutions consider architecture and future enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end GenAI solution in a fast, agile environment
• Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
• Familiarity with cutting-edge GenAI technologies, with a focus on enterprise-scale optimizations and modernizations for an operational system
• Identify needed system improvements and help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
• Ensure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with software, including cloud first development approach
• 2+ years of experience with Generative AI technologies and LLM deployment
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS or EKS, Amazon Bedrock, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
• Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS, and container orchestration
• Experience with developing and deploying production geospatial applications from concept to Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
• Experience with API management including batching, caching, throttling, and rate limiting
• Experience with LangGraph or LangChain
• Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
• Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification
• IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification
