Myriota is a company focused on providing affordable access to data through its innovative satellite technology. They are seeking a Field Application Engineer to lead customer onboarding and ensure successful deployment of IoT hardware solutions across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new customers, from software platform training and account activations to managing large-scale device logins
- Deliver hands-on training (both remote and on-site) to teach customers and technicians how to deploy and maintain Myriota hardware (expect approx. 30% travel)
- Take full ownership of field troubleshooting and RMA analysis. You’ll triage issues, perform root-cause fault finding on hardware, and drive technical queries to a fast, logical resolution
- Proactively monitor device performance and connectivity data to ensure systems are performing as promised in remote environments
- Create and maintain easy-to-follow user guides and installation documentation that allow customers to manage their own global deployments with confidence
Requirements:
- A background in IoT and wireless systems
- Proven track record of troubleshooting hardware and connectivity in real-world industrial or remote environments
- Ability to make technical hardware feel simple and accessible to operations technicians and field managers
- Based in the Central or Southern US and ready for 30% travel
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Familiarity with low-power networks and signal range
- Telemetry or industrial sensor experience
- A degree in Engineering
