Job Title: Senior Functional Test Coordinator 
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract
 
 Job Summary 
We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Test Coordinator to lead QA activities and ensure high-quality delivery across releases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test strategy, coordination across teams (including offshore), and driving quality engineering best practices in an Agile environment.
 Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies for releases

• Review and approve test plans and test cases created by QA teams

• Provide effort estimations for testing activities across releases

• Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies

• Manage application-level QA activities and analyze quality performance metrics

• Track and report QE progress, risks, issues, and gaps to leadership

• Coordinate with offshore teams for progress updates and knowledge transfer

• Ensure proper defect management (identify, reproduce, document, and track defects)

• Monitor and track overall test execution progress

• Enforce adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Functional Testing and QA Coordination

• Proven ability to define test strategies and review test artifacts

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills

• Experience coordinating with onshore/offshore teams

• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management

• Ability to track QA metrics and performance indicators

Nice to Have

• Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain

• Exposure to test management tools (like JIRA, ALM, etc.)
