Job Summary:
Responsible for providing logistical data support for the program, assuring the correct spares, materials, tools, and equipment arrive at the appropriate time and place, in the right quantities. Reviews past material usage demands and other related information to determine materials required to support the program. Takes immediate action to order parts to support AOG emergency requests and tracks parts from order to final delivery. Develops, establishes, and enforces policies and procedures pertaining to inventory control, transportation, and warehouse management. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline work processes, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- The individual must be highly motivated and have a proven track record demonstrating adaptability to change and the ability to respond to challenges in a changing environment.
- Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and other key staff to produce high quality and timely results.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Must show a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Access with thorough knowledge and skills in Excel.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with military or commercial aviation parts is preferred.
- The individual must have a results oriented commitment to the continuing evolution of the logistics system. This requires combining good judgment, application of practical experience, and a technical knowledge base to assist the Logistics/Material Department in meeting corporate strategic and day-to-day objectives.
- The individual must have excellent prioritization, organization, analytical and decision-making skills. Be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Essential Job Functions:

- Input and retrieve data from company databases.
- Creation of requisitions to purchase new materials and have reparable materials returned to a serviceable condition.
- Process material receipts and issues in the company inventory management system.
- Process field service reports (FSR's).
- Tracking and expediting of all materials for each location under their responsibility to include the calibration of tools and ground support equipment (GSE).
- Reviewing daily computerized documents to re-order parts for stock that hit re-order point to preclude zero balance conditions.
- Generates, analyses, and projects spares required.
- Creating, writing, and presenting written and oral reports.
- Clerical and other assigned duties as required.
Education and/or Experience:
Graduation from a standard four (4) year high school or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of six (6) years’ experience working in a supply chain.
