CEVA Logistics provides global supply chain solutions, and they are seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to shape innovative logistics solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and present tailored solutions for business opportunities and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the design and development of innovative supply chain solutions for new business opportunities, renewals, and re-engineering initiatives
- Translate complex data into actionable insights through advanced data analysis, engineering modeling, and scenario planning
- Develop end-to-end concepts of operations, including process flows, labor models, and facility layouts
- Create compelling customer proposals and presentations that clearly articulate value, efficiency gains, and cost benefits
- Collaborate closely with Business Development and Program Management teams to plan, prepare, and deliver proposals within tight timelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational performance across existing sites
- Incorporate sustainability and green initiatives into solution designs, supporting both corporate responsibility goals and community engagement efforts
- Continuously build and refine expertise in distribution center design, automation, and emerging supply chain technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset
- Experience designing, supporting, or operating within distribution center environments
- Working knowledge of 3PL distribution center processes and workflows
- Familiarity with automation and material handling systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts
- Background in solutions design, operations engineering, or on-site implementation within a 3PL or similar logistics environment
- Exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations and project-based engineering work
