Gainwell Technologies is a leader in healthcare innovation, seeking an Associate Business Analyst for their Medicaid/Medicare teams. In this role, you will analyze data and processes, collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, and support project management for client implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and user interface processes to investigate root cause of issues and/or make recommendations to improve business processes to support business and client needs
- Build basic conceptual data and process models to quantify the current state and potential impact of changes to the system
- Collaborate with business, client management and technical stakeholders to elicit, document and translate business requirements into technical specifications for development
- Create, execute or analyze test plans and test case scenarios to verify that requirements have been met and are built into system design
- Support project management of client and product implementations by clarifying project objectives, scope, business requirements and project schedule, as needed
Requirements:
- Two or more years of business analysis experience to include gathering, analyzing, documenting and translating requirements into actionable solutions for business stakeholders and clients
- Experience working with ALM and SDLC tools and demonstrated understanding of basic programming concepts, including configuration, development workflows, automation and the software development life cycle
- Experience with data query, analysis, visualization, and automation systems including SQL, advanced Excel, PowerBI, Python or related systems for data analysis, automation, and report generation, with analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights and support decision‑making across operational teams
- Proficient project management and organizational skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, maintain deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Collaborative and influential team player who builds strong partnerships with across teams and business leaders to work at the intersection of the ‘technical' and ‘non-technical' with the ability to present complex analytical insights clearly and concisely to business leaders, clients and technical personnel
- Independent and proactive analytical thinker with strong critical‑thinking and structured problem‑solving abilities to identify issues, offer solutions, and make data‑driven recommendations
