We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (10+ years experience) with deep expertise in backend SQL development to support enterprise billing systems and post-merger integration efforts.
This role is heavily focused on hands-on SQL engineering (60 70%) and requires someone who can operate independently, contribute to design, and collaborate across multiple business and technical teams.
Note: This is not a full-stack or BI/reporting role candidates must have strong backend data development experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and backend data processes
- Support and enhance billing platforms including CSG and ICOMS
- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions for data and backend workflows
- Work cross-functionally with multiple teams (business + technical) on integration efforts
- Participate in full SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, and documentation
- Monitor and ensure stability of automated processes and data pipelines
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive resolution independently
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems
- Expert-level SQL skills (60 70% of role)
- Complex joins, indexing strategies, performance tuning
- Stored procedures, data modeling, query optimization
- Proven experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong communication skills able to work across multiple departments
- Experience contributing to design and technical decision-making
- Hands-on involvement in SDLC processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SSIS
- Experience with C# / .NET
- Experience with telecom or billing systems such as CSG and ICOMS
- Experience supporting merger/integration-related initiatives
Additional Details
- On-call rotation: Once every 6 weeks (Mon Sun)
- Weekend: check emails 1 2 times daily (no active calls expected
